I was so fortunate to have met Dona as my wedding planner. The amount of care and thought she puts into a wedding is clearly visible. She shows you that you can trust her with her actions. She is professional, very organized, very efficient, is a fantastic communicator, the sweetest person alive on earth, but most importantly incredibly good at her job. She goes above and beyond I almost felt like I underpaid her. She is there to help you and guide you along your whole journey to marriage. I actually tell people that I wouldn’t have pushed through my wedding without Dona. She was what made the wedding happen in the first place and finish so smoothly till the end. She is the true MVP of my wedding!

Dona made our day the most incredible dream come true! Wedding planning is NOT easy. Dona is hands down the person you want to help with the process! Without her organization, project management experience, vendor connections, and unique / helpful ideas, our wedding would not have been the most magical day it turned out to be. It’s hard to express the appreciation we have for Dona without sounding overly complimentary LOL but we truly feel like she is to thank for how over the moon happy we are with our wedding day. We hired Dona as a day of coordinator. But the hours she put in for us was truly so much more. We hired a wedding coordinator and got a cheerleader and friend. She was able to assess our personalities and meet us where we needed to be met. My husband and I were pretty easy going with the process and truly felt like we could trust Dona to make decisions for us because she is that good. She answered every question and email extreamly promptly. She kept us calm on the big day and was the most attentive to us and our families / friends. We absolutley loved our wedding day and so many guests raved about how successful everything went- we truly credit that to Dona and her team. We could not be more grateful for her! My advice for those looking for a coordinator - hire Dona ASAP!!!!!

I honestly could not have asked for a better planner/day of coordinator than Dona. I met Dona through my small business and instagram. She was a loyal follower and supporter of me and my small business and from being a perfect stranger, she quickly transitioned to someone I saw as a big sister. When I got engaged, I knew that I wouldn't be able to survive without a coordinator and knew right away that I wanted to ask Dona because I knew that she would do her best to ensure that her "little sis" wedding was the best it can be and that she did.
From being there for me to vent to when I was stressed, to helping me talk to vendors, to executing day of and taking care of the full set up and break down, Dona was there for me every step of the way. Big 300+ Vietnamese weddings are not easy and my family can be a little wild, but she embraced it with open arms and with a willingness to learn all the traditional elements that came with a Vietnamese wedding.
Dona treats her clients just like family and genuinely cares about more then just coordinating your big day... she cares for YOU.
I love Dona and highly recommend her if you're looking for a planner/coordinator.

Working with Dona was truly like a dream! We had put off hiring a coordinator until we were only a month out from our wedding date, but her and her team really worked their magic. The weather even threw us all a curve ball and we had to move our ceremony indoors but everything was coordinated so well it looked like it was always meant to be that way. I love how she prioritized us enjoying the day and not stressing about timelines while still making sure everything ran smoothly. We had a truly magical night and gained a dear friend. I can’t sing her praises enough. If you’re shopping around for a planner/coordinator stop and book Dona now! You’ll be so glad you did!

Working with Dona for our big day was one of the best decisions we made. Initially I didnt think I would need a coordinator, but I am so glad we had Dona because there was no way the day would have gone as smooth as it did.
From the beginning, Dona was so communicative, answered every question I had (and I had tons), and helped me make decisions when I asked. I felt like I needed second opinions on certain things and she was always happy to help. She truly went above and beyond. She handled all communication with our vendors as it got close to the big day and on our wedding day which took a huge weight off my shoulders.
Our wedding day felt flawless. If something went wrong, I didnt know about it. 2 of my bridesmaids dresses broke and she even helped sew them right before the ceremony. She executed the decor and beyond. I truly cannot say enough good things about Dona.
Our guests said it was the best wedding they've been to and that it flowed so smooth. That was because of Dona. I honestly was so sad when our wedding was over because that meant I didn't get to chat with her as much.
If you are looking for a coordinator for your wedding, Dona is the only one!!!

Dona was the absolute best. Leading up to our wedding she was as involved as we wanted her to be (which was A LOT, we loved her and her insights were top notch), gave us insights that helped us make the best decisions, and was a pleasure to work with the entire time.
Come to our wedding day, her and her team had our vision in mind and absolutely made it happen while providing both myself and my husband the most stress-free wedding day. Would recommend Having Dona by our side was one of our best wedding decisions!

The first time I met Dona was through FaceTime and within the first 10 minutes of talking, she was the one that I trusted.
With my wedding being the busiest season and also re-scheduled weddings from the pandemic. She was very communicative through email or text anytime through out the day to make me feel stress free. She went above and beyond for what I could ever ask for.
Being on a budget bride and trying to do a lot of DIY for my wedding, She helped and guided my vision and also gave me advice of how I could re-use some props from the ceremony to the reception like the center piece flowers. She provided vases and helped me find flowers for them as well.
When it came to the day off, it was the sunny and perfect of how I wanted the day to be. Till this day, I still remember every moment of my special day.
Dona will be there with you every step of the way! She is the most amazing and caring coordinator.

Hiring Dona to plan my wedding was one of the best decisions I made! I scheduled my initial meeting with her, and we just clicked. She is so organized, thorough, and professional. She would frequently check in with us to make sure that we were on top of tasks, and most importantly, to make sure that we were doing okay. She helped talk us through any concerns or worries we had, which was very helpful with keeping us sane during the whole wedding planning process. On the day of the wedding, I looked around and saw that the vision in my head had come to life, and I thank her for it! I also received many compliments about Dona from friends and family. She made sure that we were all taken care of. She really cares about all her couples and takes all the necessary steps to ensure that the wedding is your special day. I highly recommend Dona!

We hired Dona as our day-of-coordinator. I had planned my wedding 2 years in advance and knew I wanted someone I could trust to "run the show." I came upon Dona using a simple google search to find something within my budget. Many of the other more "known" wedding planners were either booked or we didn't connect with. I remember meeting Dona for the first time - she was kind, funny and very focused. She listened to our needs and quickly adapted from there. I remember her keeping in touch several months before the contract stated that she would be available and that set my mind at ease! I wanted a simple wedding (without all the fluff) and somehow Dona was able to make that fluff even better! She was very organized, trustworthy and most of all, SO hardworking. There was the threat of rain that day (on a summer Seattle day in August) and Dona kept me at ease. Although the wedding day came and went so fast (I forgot to make a toast to all the vendors - I'm sorry!), I remember thinking how much I appreciated having her there. She also always remembered to feed us - which was SO important! She made sure our dog was a part of it all - which meant so much. She set all the cues, the placements and all of my guests told me to make sure that I told Dona and her team (Olivia) that "they did such seamless, great work!" She also got along with everybody! I'm very picky with the people that become a part of my life and I am so grateful that "like a dream weddings" popped up on that google search that day. If you're wondering if you should get a wedding planner, I will tell you: YES YOU SHOULD and make sure it is DONA and her team from Like a Dream Weddings because it will truly be a DREAM come true on your wedding day. We booked Dona as DOC for our wedding originally scheduled in 2020 summer, but had to postpone a year due to the pandemic. Dona worked with us for one and a half years and I can say that she's definitely gone above and beyond as a wedding DOC. Dona is thoughtful, sweet, and experienced. When we told her that we wanted to reschedule our wedding, she was not only flexible but also gave us advice on how to handle all the details about the wedding rescheduling. She was also great in reminding us to complete different planning tasks at the right timing along the way to really keep us on track. We were so glad that on the wedding day, we could just totally focus on the wedding and enjoy it because Dona was on top of everything: handling the deliveries, guiding guests, decorating the welcome table (she really has a good eye!), and more. Thank you, Dona!

I have been dreaming about my wedding since I was a little girl, to say that Dona cared about every little detail being perfect and special (just as much as I did) is an understatement. It's a very big thing to trust someone to help us plan the most important day of our lives and my husband and I couldn't have been happier with Dona. The guests had so much fun all my engaged friends were asking me for her number at the end of the night, which I continue to give happily to anyone planning a wedding! Dona said from the very beginning that her main goal was that I wasn't stressed about anything on the day and only focused on enjoying myself - and that's exactly what happened. Even though we were all biting our nails planning during covid (AND a heat wave to top it off) Dona remained calm and so organized. When I woke up on the morning of my wedding I realized there were no more questions to ask, no more emails to send, no more concerns. Dona had it all taken care of thanks to her hard work, I was able to just grab a mimosa and start getting ready. It was such a special day from start to finish and she was so intuitive to mine and my husband's needs, guiding us along through the best day of our lives. I truly cannot thank her enough for the love and care she put into a day that was so important to everyone we hold close! We were laughing and smiling through the whole experience and I never once had a single worry. I cannot recommend her more for any bride or groom who wants to just enjoy themselves and soak up such an important, beautiful moment!

As a DIY bride, I made many mistakes and if it was not for Dona my wedding day could literally have not happened. Not only is she super creative and artistic, Dona is insanely organized, detailed oriented, and professional. She scheduled meetings with us to ensure we felt good about all the details and continued to check in which helped me feel supported throughout one of the most stressful times during the wedding planning process. I didn't think I could be more wowed to be honest because she was just truly amazing throughout the planning process but the day of the wedding was better than I imagined. Dona and Olivia came with in-ears, ready for the day with the most professional support that I ever saw. She was able to make everything look so amazing with the boxes of my chaotic mess. My Pinterest boards and what I had envisioned in my head was put into realty though her thoughtful process. I was 100% stress-free during the wedding knowing that Dona was out there to ensure everything ran smoothly. I am truly grateful for her support and genuinely thankful for the friendship earned at the end of it all.
So if you are in need of an amazingly talented coordinator that encompasses the perfect balance of professionalism, artistic eye, and genuine kindness, DONA is it!
